About The Airline

With a main base located in Kunming, Kunming Airlines(KY) started operation on 15Feb, 2009, focusing on both domestic and international passenger and freight air transport business with an emphasis on Yunnan province. As one of the holding corporations of Shenzhen Airlines(SZ), KY also belongs to Air China(CA) System.Kunming Airlines was qualified as a international operation carrier in Aug, 2016 and entered into IATA membership in Jul,2018.

KY regards Changshui International Airport as its base field, and it is the third biggest airline in Yunnan Province. With more than 150 routes, operating nine Boeing 737-700, twenty-one 737-800 and two B737-8 airplanes. so far KY’s route network has covered more than 80 cities in China, and has the number of employees over 2500.
