Vietjet extends irresistible promotion to celebrate the opening of two new flight routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Phuket and Chiang Mai (Thailand)
Kuala Lumpur, 26 October 2017 – Vietjet has announced two new international flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam with popular tourist hotspots Phuket and Chiang Mai, Thailand to serve the growing travel and trade demands between the two countries.
In celebration of the new route additions, Vietjet is offering 180,000 promotional tickets priced from only USD0* from 25 – 27 October 2017 during the golden hours of 1.00pm – 3.00pm (Malaysian time). The promotional tickets will be applicable for use on all international destinations including Phuket, Chiang Mai, Bangkok (Thailand); Seoul, Busan (South Korea); Hong Kong (China); Kaoshiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan); Singapore; Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Yangon (Myanmar); and Siem Reap, Phnom Penh (Cambodia).
The offer is applicable on flights to the listed destinations from 1 November 2017 – 31 May 2017**. However the offer is only applicable to the HCMC – Phuket route starting 15 December and the HCMC – Chiang Mai route from 12 December 2017.
The HCMC – Phuket route will operate a return flight every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday beginning 15 December 2017 with an expected travel duration of two hours per leg. The flight will depart HCMC at 10.15am and arrive in Phuket at 12.10pm (local time). The return flight takes off from Phuket at 13.05pm (local time) and lands in HCMC at 3.10pm.
Meanwhile, flights on the two-hour HCMC – Chiang Mai route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday starting 12 December 2017. The flight departs HCMC at 11.35am and arrives in Chiang Mai at 1.30pm (local time), while the return leg will take off at 2.20pm (local time) and land in HCMC at 4.25pm.
With the opening of these new routes, Vietjet now operates a total of six direct flights to Thailand, also fondly referred to as the “Land of Smiles”.
