Broome International Airport : Major Terminal Redevelopment - Second Arrivals Hall
The Broome International Airport Group (BIAG) is proud to announce that the construction of the second Arrivals Hall and first floor Departure Lounge adjoining the existing Arrivals Hall will be undertaken in 2021. These works are part of an ongoing major investment in the Terminal Precinct which will future proof the airport for many years ahead.
The construction of a second Arrivals Hall and first floor Departure Lounge will complete BIA’s major terminal redevelopment project which was announced in August 2019 thus enhancing the airport experience for departing and arriving passengers, meeters, greeters and farewellers.
Preparatory work on site is scheduled to commence on 11 January 2021 with building works commencing towards the end of March 2021. In keeping with the previous stages of the terminal redevelopment project, local builders and contractors will be engaged to undertake the works which should be completed by May 2022.
Throughout the construction there will be some unavoidable disruption and inconvenience to users of the terminals, particularly in and around the current arrivals area. Please follow all new accessways, updated airport signage and directions from airport staff at all times.
We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver a world class airport terminal.
