Solar Panel Installation at BIA

Broome International Airport has installed three separate solar systems with a combined capacity of 660kW.

 The largest system is mounted on a new steel structure within BIA’s public carpark, providing 100 shaded parking bays.

The solar systems are expected to supply around 55% of BIA’s power demand and almost halve its carbon footprint.
