Italy's most famous racetrack is located just few kms out of Milan
“Autodromo di Monza” is Italy’s most important and famous F1 circuit and it’s located few kms from Milan, in the hearth of Monza’s Park. The location within the Park creates a unique scenario in the world, also from a naturalistic point of view. The “Autodromo” was built inside the Monza Park in 1922 on commission of the Automobile Club of Milan, in the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Association's activity.
The “Autodromo” it’s World’s third oldest permanent racetrack, after Brooklands (UK) (no longer in use) and Indianapolis (USA) and it’s the historic site of the F1 Italian Grand Prix, which took place here 80 times out of the 88 total.
