New terminal extension at Milan Bergamo Airport
6 new Schengen gates and 2 new baggage belts
Another important step has been added to the Milan Bergamo Airport expansion and renovation program. The new West wing was officially inaugurated on Dec 15th. The new part of the boarding hall is now available for all Schengen passengers.
The total number of Schengen gates at Milan BGY airport is now of 25 plus 10 for Non-Schengen flights.
Over the last two years, SACBO, the managing company of Milan Bergamo Airport, has invested a total of 75 million euros in the expansion and redevelopment of the airport.
Thanks to these investments, the airport aims to return quickly to the pre-pandemic levels and to break the record of roughly 14 million passengers handled in 2019.
