The presence of over 50 media partners underscored the high level of public interest, both domestically and internationally. From ACV's side, Mr. Truong Trng Thanh, Deputy Director of Long Thanh International Airport Operational Readiness & Airport Transfer (ORAT) Department, shared insights on "How greenfield airports will reshape the future of the airport consumer experience," which sparked keen interest and practical exchanges among participants.

Mr. Truong Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of Long Thanh International Airport

Long Thanh International Airport, envisioned to become one of the world's leading aviation hubs, promises to deliver a revolutionary travel experience for passengers. Once fully operational, Long Thanh will have an annual capacity of 100 million passengers, expected to reach 200 million passengers by 2040.

Equipped with advanced cutting-edge technologies such as automated check-in systems, biometric screening, real-time information updates, AI-enabled baggage processing, and elements of traditional cultural heritage, Long Thanh aims to create a seamless, efficient, and unforgettable journey for passengers. The airport will serve as a crucial gateway for trade and a significant catalyst for Vietnam's socioeconomic growth. With its extensive capacity and scalability, Long Thanh will meet the growing travel demand while elevating Vietnam's global aviation map position.

In another session with the presence of global retail experts and representatives from ACV's member units, including Mr. Lê Đại Dương – Investment and Development Director of SASCO, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân – Deputy Director of Nội Bài International Airport, and Mr. Phillip Nguyễn – Deputy CEO of IPP Group, shared insights on the future growth opportunities for Vietnam's aviation retail industry.

Notably, in the presentation by Nội Bài International Airport, its representative discussed development directions and new consumer trends to build a green, clean, and sustainable airport. Nội Bài International Airport strives to become a 4-5 star airport, embracing modern consumer trends such as intentional consumption and online shopping. To enhance customer experience, the airport is implementing advanced technologies, including biometric recognition, the A-CDM system, one-touch check-in procedures with automated gates for entry and boarding, as well as cashless payment solutions and self-service amenities like vending machines, information kiosks, and intelligent maps.

Once completed, the perspective of the T2 passenger terminal at Noi Bai International Airport will help alleviate the overload of the T1 terminal. It will meet international standards and have many modern operational systems, giving Noi Bai International Airport a new look.
These improvements meet passengers' growing needs and demonstrate the commitment of Noi Bai International Airport, in particular, and ACV (Airports Corporation of Vietnam), in general, to developing non-aviation services and enhancing the quality of passenger services.
