Recent updates from Terminal 3 -Tan Son Nhat International Airport
In early November 2024, the T3 terminal at Tan Son Nhat Airport reached 75% completion, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of Vietnam's leading airport.
The T3 terminal has a total floor area of 112,500 square meters, consisting of a basement, four above-ground floors, and four main components:
- The passenger terminal
- A multi-story parking structure with integrated non-aviation services
- An elevated road system
- An aircraft parking apron
Over 3,000 engineers and workers are continuously working to ensure timely project completion. By the end of 2024, the project is expected to complete the power connection, roof and rear glass installation and the joining of the overpass bridge leading to the terminal. These efforts are in preparation for the trial operation and inauguration phases, aiming to meet the increasing travel demand of passengers and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
