Noi Bai International Airport welcomes the first inaugural flight Juneyao Airlines to Ha Noi capital city

At 1:50 AM on December 7, Juneyao Airlines flight HO1329 from Shanghai, China, safely landed at Noi Bai International Airport, officially inaugurating the regular commercial round-trip route between Shanghai and Hanoi.

This new route will be operated by Juneyao Airlines with a frequency of one round-trip flight per day using modern Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight duration from Shanghai to Hanoi is approximately 3.5 hours.

As the largest aviation gateway in northern Vietnam, Noi Bai International Airport currently handles an average of 500 flights per day, serving over 80,000 passengers, including nearly 40,000 international passengers. In 2024, the airport has ensured absolute security and safety for over 30 million passengers and more than 180,000 flights, with notable growth in international passenger traffic (up 23% compared to the same period in 2023). With continuous efforts to improve and enhance service quality, five new airlines have launched routes to Hanoi in 2024. As of now, Noi Bai International Airport has 65 domestic and international airlines operating flights to Vietnamese cities/provinces with airports and to continents worldwide.

The new route also added by Juneyao Airlines between Shanghai Pudong and Ho Chi Minh City began on December 9 and operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Juneyao Airlines is a private airline in China and currently operates more than 80 flights per week on 12 routes to Southeast Asia. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, a representative of Juneyao Airlines stated the airline's commitment to providing high-quality services to serve Chinese tourists visiting Vietnam to explore and experience the culture while facilitating Vietnamese travelers in discovering exciting destinations in China.
