Noi Bai International Airport Welcomes The First Flight Of Aero K Airlines To Ha Noi

At 3:05 AM on December 19, flight RF554 of Aero K Airlines from Incheon, South Korea, safely landed at Noi Bai International Airport, officially inaugurating the regular international commercial round-trip route between South Korea and Hanoi.

This new route will operate with a frequency of one round-trip flight per day using modern Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time from Incheon to Hanoi is estimated to be just over four hours, offering convenience and an attractive travel option for passengers.

As the most important aviation gateway in Northern Vietnam, Noi Bai International Airport currently handles an average of 500 flights per day, serving over 80,000 passengers, of which nearly 40,000 are international travelers. In 2024, the airport ensured the absolute safety of more than 30 million passengers and 180,000 flights. Notably, the number of international passengers increased by 23% compared to the same period in 2023, reflecting a robust recovery in international air transport. Since the beginning of 2024, the airport has welcomed six new airlines launching routes to Hanoi, bringing the total number of airlines operating here to over 60, connecting cities and provinces across Vietnam and continents worldwide.

Aero K Airlines is a low-cost airline based in Cheongju Airport, South Korea. After achieving success with routes such as Da Nang – Cheongju (DAD – CJJ) and Cam Ranh – Incheon (CXR – ICN), the airline continues to expand its operations in the Vietnamese market, considering it a critical strategic area in its development plans in Southeast Asia.

The new Hanoi – Incheon (HAN – ICN) route not only provides affordable travel options for Vietnamese passengers but also creates opportunities for tourism businesses through flexible package offerings. This underscores Aero K Airlines' commitment to enhancing connections between Vietnam and South Korea.
