About The Airport
Iasi Airport is located at the eastern extremity of the European Union, serving as the main air gateway to the northeastern part of Romania.
In terms of air traffic volume, IASI Airport is the second-largest regional airport, and the most important airport in the northeastern region of the country, with a potential service area of approximately 6 million residents.
Considering the potential of our catchment area along with our increased interest in providing infrastructure that meets the highest quality standards, in March 2024, Iasi Airport completed one of the most extensive airport infrastructure projects in Romania.
With the inauguration of the new Terminal T4, Iasi Airport has become the second largest airport in Romania, with a total area of over 31,000 square meters and a minimum processing capacity of 7 million passengers per year.
