About The Airport
Nis Constantine the Great Airport (INI) is second largest airport in Serbia (after BEG). It is located in the vicinity of the city of Nis (4km). Based on low-cost airport model, Constantine the Great has among the lowest airport and handling charges in Europe.
The airport catchment area covers entire Southern and Eastern Serbia with more than 2 million inhabitants. Having in mind that 46% of Serbian emigrants originate from airport catchment area, there is huge potential for VFR. City of Nis, birthplace of Constantine the Great, is economic, industrial (Phillip Morris, Michelin, Johnson Electric), cultural (Nisville-Jazz festival), university (25 000 students), medical (medical tourism) and touristic center of the region. Region with 11 spas, 2 ski resorts, many historical monuments and unique Serbian cousin attract more and more tourists every year (26% of all passengers).
