Alitalia commences daily flights between Rome & Malé

Velana International Airport welcomed, the flag carrier of Italy; Alitalia with a traditional water salute on 01st November 2017. The Airline, which previously operated chartered flights from Italy to Maldives, will now operate three A330 flights per week.

The tourist arrival of Italian market has increased by 22% when compared to the year 2016 and is further expected to increase with the operation of Alitalia.
