UMBRIA – PERUGIA AIRPORT

Located mid-way between the regional capital of Perugia (15 Km) and the world renown medieval town of Assisi (12 Km), the Umbria – Perugia International Airport “San Francesco d’Assisi” represents the ideal gateway to the “Green Heart of Italy” and its main international access route.

The airport is seamlessly linked to Central Italy’s main highways, comfortably connecting it with Tuscany, Lazio and Marche.

The recent years’ growth in passenger traffic and its strategic position have prompted the recently completed development program, which resulted in a new 5,000 sqm modern terminal, designed to accommodate 500,000 pax / year.

The catchment area includes about 3 millions residents. In 2017 the number of passengers was 250.133 (+13%).
