New Ethiopian Airlines flights
On June 15th 2019 Ethiopian Airlines commenced operating 3 new flights non-stop from Milan Malpensa to Addis Ababa. The operation covers 3 weekly departures from Milan on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and from Addis Ababa on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. These flights, operated using Boeing 787 Dreamliners, are added to the other 4 already operating from Malpensa with a technical stop in Rome Fiumicino, thus making a total of 7 weekly flights.
The first non-stop flight was celebrated with an event at the gate, with the cutting of a ribbon and the slicing of a cake, offered to passengers and journalists present.
Another step in the constant growth of the African airline: “Ethiopian Airlines has won many prizes, has recorded a growth in sales in Italy and is strong and sure that it can continue with this improvement up to the end of the year”, states Mrs Desiree Grech, Sales Manager in Italy for Ethiopian Airlines.
