Wizz Air announced 3 new routes to South Italy from Milano Malpensa

On October 22, Wizz Air announced 3 new routes to Naples, Brindisi, and Lamezia Terme, starting from December 2020, which will improve the already existing connection between Milan and Southern Italy. Furthermore, the frequency on the Milan Malpensa - Bari route will be increased from 7 to 11 weekly flights.

Andrea Tucci, Head of Business Aviation Development at SEA commented on the airline's announcement as follows: “We are glad about Wizz Air's decision to enhance its network of connections from Malpensa, widening the range of destinations in a time of crisis for the sector. In this context, our airports continue to invest in safety. We immediately adopted protocols and introduced "anti-covid" health and hygiene devices such as the thermal cameras at the entrance to the terminal that detect the temperature, signs that help the passenger to maintain adequate distancing, the distributors of free gel throughout the terminal. Safety is a priority for us, we continue to invest in technology to offer to the passengers an increasingly touchless experience from check-in to the gate. Finally, we are working with the airlines to ensure that passengers swab before departure by safely reducing travel restrictions, such as quarantines, with the aim of contributing to the recovery of the aviation industry.
