Volotea debuts at Milano Linate and announces three new routes to Catania, Lampedusa and Pantelleria

It will be possible to fly to Catania 7 days a week, Lampedusa and Pantelleria will have 2 flights a week. The new connections are already on sale on the Volotea website and through traditional sales channels.

Volotea today has announced the start of its operations at Milano Linate airport. In fact, from June, three new connections will be available from the Lombardy airport to Catania (first flight scheduled for 04/06), Lampedusa and Pantelleria (both operating from 05/06). The Catania flight will operate on a 7/7 basis, while flights to the Sicilian islands will take off twice a week, every Saturday and Sunday. The new routes are already available at www.volotea.com and at travel agencies.

“We are extremely proud to be able to announce the beginning of our partnership with Milano Linate Airport, the 23rd airport where our flights are available in Italy. We are making our debut at Linate with 72,000 seats on sale, sure to make travelling to Catania and two of Sicily's most beautiful islands easier and more convenient. The new routes from Milano Linate, in addition to offering our passengers 3 new flight opportunities, reconfirms our commitment to supporting the tourism sector, so severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. And of course, all our flights are extremely hygienic, both for our passengers and our crews, thanks to a series of safety measures. We are confident that the launch of these new routes is only the beginning of a long and profitable collaboration between Volotea and Milano Linate" - commented Valeria Rebasti, Country Manager Italy & Southeastern Europe of Volotea.

"We are delighted to announce the arrival of Volotea to Milan. With the opening of operations at Milano Linate, this commercially dynamic airline, which is already well positioned in Europe, will boost the recovery of air traffic. As a result of recent investments in the terminal and in accessibility, our smart and fast infrastructure is now modeled after successful city airports such as London City. The promptness shown by Volotea in seizing the opportunity, available from this summer, to be awarded slots and position itself at Linate, will contribute to the diversification of the airport's commercial offer to the benefit of users, in full respect of the airport's European vocation". Said Andrea Tucci, VP Aviation Business Development SEA.

All Volotea routes are available on the website www.volotea.com and in travel agencies.
