New Incentive from Athens International Airport
Winter'2012 Special Incentive
In view of the air traffic downturn resulting from the general economic crisis, AIA, in line with its risk-sharing philosophy introduced a new supportive Incentive Scheme for airlines operating to/from Athens. This incentive will be valid for a 3-months period (FEB to APR) and for both the domestic and international routes. Through this activity AIA is targeting to encourage airlines to introduce additional promotional fares into the market aiming to stimulate demand for air-travel especially during the low –season.
This new incentive is expected to have multiple benefits for the market because not only does it encourage traffic but it also offers discounts to the airlines just after the end of the incentive period and, at the same time, it aims at stimulating incoming traffic to Athens/Greece in general. More particular AIA will offer to the airlines for each, one-way, all-inclusive fare - at a given promotional price - a fixed amount in euro per flown ticket. Eligible fares vary according to the distance of the trip out of Athens.
For a full description of the incentive along with the respective terms & conditions we fully encourage you to visit the incentive section of IGATE application online.
