Welcoming American Airlines in Athens

Athens International Airport welcomed on April 17th the first flight of American Airlines on the Philadelphia – Athens route.

American Airlines will be operating daily flights throughout the entire summer period – and not exclusively during the “traditional” summer months as in previous years.

The flights of American Airlines are increasing the travelling options for the public by offering connections to the carrier’s entire network.

The flights will be operated by an Airbus Α330, departing from Athens on 11:20, and arriving from Philadelphia on 09:05.

Following the completion of the merger with US Airways in October 2015, American Airlines will be the world’s biggest carrier.
