AIA's Passenger traffic development

During July, the airport’s passengers reached 2.14 million, corresponding to an increase of 20.5% compared to prior-year levels, with both domestic and international passengers growing at a similar pace (+23.5% and +19.0% respectively). In total, Greek travellers demonstrated a slight increase of 1% while foreign visitors enjoyed a rise of 31%.

Overall, during the period January-July, the airport’s traffic reached 10.1 million passengers, surpassing prior-year levels by 22.6%, with domestic travellers increasing by 26.5% and international passengers by 20.6%. Greek travellers demonstrated a rise of 15%, while foreign visitors grew by 29%.
