AIA's pax traffic development - January 2016

During January, the airport’s passenger traffic continued the successful course of the previous year, achieving a robust increase of almost 12% (11.9%), reaching 1.1 million, which is a historical record for the specific month.
Domestic travellers demonstrated a strong growth of 16.5% and international passengers showed a healthy rise of 9.1%. Both Greek and foreign visitors increased their air travel by 12%, showing that both traveller groups continue in 2016 their positive development.
