Volotea's Athens summer '17: up by +33%!
Also announces new Genoa - Ath, during special event in Athens:)
On November 22, during a special Press Event downtown Athens, Volotea announced its developmental plans to/from Athens for the Summer 2017. In specific, Volotea will be operating next year seven routes: Bari, Mykonos, Santorini, Mytilene, Palermo, Venice and adds Genoa - the airline’s 9th base! In total, Volotea will be offering 115,000 Athens seats for next year and more than 950 flights, thus signifying an increase of 33% vs Summer 2016.
Valeria Rebasti, Commercial Country Manager for Italy and Greece, said,
“We are very happy to announce this new route between Italy and Greece. Genoa has recently been chosen as our 9th base and we are sure that the connection between this city and Athens will allow to develop even more the relationships between the two countries. We are persuaded that we can create traffic in both sides as Italians love Greece and we are sure that Athenians will love Genoa, a charming city which offers many attractions among which the biggest Aquarium in Europe.
