Alitalia announced the addition of Linate as a year-round destination from Athens, effective December 1st 2017.
Milano Linate Airport, named after Enrico Forlanini, is the city airport of Milan. It has a wide range of domestic and short and medium range international flights.
During the winter season (Winter 2017/2018) Linate will be served daily, operating on a Airbus 319 equipment with 144 seats.
Alitalia plans to increase the Linate service for Summer 2018, from 7 weekly to 12 weekly frequencies. This upgrade will deliver almost 6,000 additional seats monthly during the Summer season.

For YtD 2017 (October) Alitalia operated to 3 destinations (Rome, Milan and Tel-Aviv) and delivered more than 340.000 passengers, +22,6% growth compare to 2016 with an average (10 months) Load Factor of 79,8%.
Alitalia’s strong performance at Athens during 2017 resulted in exceeding full year 2016 traffic volume by +5% and it is really great news that, despite adversities, the airline keeps growing at Athens; on our part, we are fully committed towards substantially supporting the airline with their developmental plans out ofAthens.
