Passengers: 21,74 million (+8.6%), Flights : 195,951 (+3.6%), Load Factor: 82.2% (+3.7)
In 2017, Athens International Airport achieved an all-time high record with 21,74 million passengers, an increase of 1,72 mio PAX (+8.6%) compared to 2016, mainly driven by the strong growth of the International market (+12.0%).
Number of aircraft movements amounted to 195,951 (+3.6%) compared to 2016. Both Domestic and International aircraft movements achieved growth of (+2.9%) and (+4.1%) respectively.
Average Load Factors further improved during 2017 and reached 82.2% (+3.7) compared to 2016; Ιnternational average load factor for 2017 improved by +4.4 and domestic by +2.5
