Double digit growth continuing within July with a +11.3% increase in pax numbers

During July, the airport’s passengers enjoyed a strong increase of 11.3%, reaching 2.85 million. Both domestic and international travellers achieved growth, at the level of 9.1% and 12.3%, respectively. Overall, during the period January through July 2018, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 13.3 million, achieving double-digit growth (+11.1%), with both domestic and international traffic exceeding the respective 2017 volumes by 3.7% and 15% respectively.

Number of flights during January to July amounted to 120,531, demonstrating a healthy rise of 9.7%. Both domestic and international services presented growth by 6.9% and 11.8% respectively, mainly attributed to the enhanced summer 2018 route network of the airport.
