“China-ready“ AIA!

Information about the airport and the city of Athens is now available for Chinese travellers, through the airport’s brand new and innovative App, developed and designed in cooperation with Toorbee, for the “WeChat” platform!

By simply scanning a QR code available in various prominent airport areas, Chinese travellers can now access comprehensive information about airport services, products and offers, combined with information about “what happens” in the city of Athens.

According to Mr. George Demetriades, AIA, Director, IT&T Business Unit, “Athens International Airport, with innovative ideas aiming at constantly improving its services to travellers, worked together with Toorbee, a pioneer Greek startup, offering the first application in Greece exclusively for Chinese travellers. Thus, we hope that we can facilitate their airport stay and experience, by offering the possibility of exploring airport services and shopping opportunities, as well as information about the city of Athens.”
