June: +7.6%

During June 2019, the airport’s passenger traffic recorded a robust increase of 7.6% and reached 2.61 million. Domestic air travellers presented a small increase at the level of 1.9% while international passengers demonstrated a strong growth at the level of 10.3%. Overall, during the first half of the year, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 11.26 million, exceeding the prior year levels by a robust 7.7%, with both domestic and international traffic seeing considerable increase of 4% and 9.5%, respectively.

Number of flights during the first six months of the year, amounted to 100,969, demonstrating a considerable rise of 6.4%. Domestic flights presented a strong rise of 10.2%, while international services also showed a healthy increase of 3.8%.
