Volotea will offer 15 destinations from Athens this Summer, the highest number of destinations offered from Volotea ever
Just ahead of welcoming Volotea’s first flight of the season from Marseille on the 2nd of April, Athens International Airport organised a very successful Press Event.
On the 23rd of March, Valeria Rebasti and Pietro Cassitta from Volotea, presented to the press in Greece all latest news from the airline and the very dynamic expansion of Volotea Athens base.
For Summer 2022 Volotea will operate to 15 destinations, +5 from 2019 (x3 Domestic & 12 International)

- April 2015, Volotea entered Athens with a service to Venice
- May 2018, opened Athens base
- 2019, reaching almost 0.5mio PAX (round-trip)
- 2021, operated to 10 destinations ( x4 Domestic & 6 International )
- Summer 2022, Volotea will add 5 New Destinations, with Bilbao in Spain and Turin in Italy NEW destinations for Athens airports also
- Services are offered with Volotea A319 fleet
