Cyprus Airways Green Maiden A220 flight at Athens

Athens was selected as the first operational route for the brand new A220 equipment, recently introduced in its fleet by Cyprus Airways. 

On the 09th of August Athens International Airport and Cyprus Airways celebrated the arrival of flight CY310 from Larnaca operating for the first time with the A220.  

A photo session with Athens airport mascot “Filos the Athenian” and a cake-cutting ceremony took place at the departure gate, with Mr Paul Sies, the CEO of Cyprus Airways, Mr Christos Limnatitis, the CCO and Mr Theo Mallas Marketing & PR Manager Cyprus Airways welcoming  passengers at the departure gate, along with Athens International Airport Marketing Team. 

Thank you, Cyprus Airways for choosing Athens as the first destination of your Green, Maiden flight of A220! Indeed, the future is green!!!
