AAA welcomed Sunwing Airlines from Canada
ORANJESTAD - Recently Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) welcomed the Sunwing Airline’s inaugural flight from Canada. At the airport Mr. Gary Ogden, VP Commercial Operations and Mrs. Susan Olanda, manager of Promotional and Program Development for Signature Vacations were welcomed by Mr. Peter Steinmetz, CEO AAA, Mrs. Ronella Tjin Asjoe-Croes, CEO Aruba Tourism Authority and Mr. Jim Hepple, CEO AHATA.

Sunwing Airlines operates a fleet of over 21 aircraft and is part of The Sunwing Travel Group which is Canada's largest leisure company comprised of Tour Operators, Airlines and national retail travel agency chain, a hotel management company and a destination management company. The head office is located in Toronto with regional offices throughout Canada, the Caribbean and Continental Europe.
The aircraft that will be used is a Boeing 737-800 with capacity of 189 passengers and will fly throughout the year every Sunday from Toronto to Aruba. Additionally a second flight will be added starting December 15, 2011. The additional flight will be on Tuesdays and will be part of the winter itinerary.
