AAA Welcomed Avior’s flight from Caracas!
ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) was very happy to welcome Avior Airlines’ inaugural flight from Caracas to Aruba on November 21st, 2013. The inaugural flight was welcomed with the traditional water canon salute by the local fire department and also a nice cocktail reception in the airport's VIP-Room in the presence of the airport and airline executives.
The airline that before this inaugural flight had a twice a week schedule, now has a 5 times a week flight schedule to and from Venezuela.
For the Caracas flights Avior will be using two types of 737-200 aircraft models (120 economy seats / 12 business, 96 economy) reaching a total capacity of 2400 seats p/m, which is an increase of 1440 seats (+150%).
Avior Airlines is an airline based in Barcelona, Anzoátegui, Venezuela. It operates scheduled and charter services within Venezuela and the southern Caribbean, as well as Miami out of its base at Generál José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport.
