Aruba Airport awarded as model airport for safety promotion throughout the world
Received recognition from ACI World
Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) is proud to share its latest worldwide recognition: Aruba Airport was recognized during the ACI World combined with Latin America and Caribbean Assembly held in Panama for its contribution to the Airports in Excellence Program (APEX) and for being a model airport throughout the World in regards to promotion of safety and implementation of best practices in regards to safety.
This award was presented to Aruba Airport’s COO Mr. Jurgen Benschop by ACI World’s General Manager Ms. Angela Gittens in front of more than 620 participating airports representing all airports around the world, including the past COO of Schiphol Group Mr. Ad Rutten.
Aruba Airport has been actively participating in the ACI committees and has assisted ACI in performing APEX reviews at different airports in our region to help enhance safety.

This recognition reinforces our vision and reassures us that we are on the right path to achieve a dynamic safety culture. We are now considered as leaders in safety promotion.
