Additional F&B options at Aruba Airport
Panda Express, Freshii and Wineport with enjoyable menus for traveling passengers
Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) together with Airport Hospitality Industry N.V. (AHI) happily extended an invite to all press members to experience what the recent Aruba Airport visitors have been talking about: Panda Express, Freshii and Wineport; the newest F&B outlets at the airport.
The new 323.50 square meters F&B area was created to accommodate the growing demand for quality F&B options and extra seating areas for passengers visiting Aruba Airport, especially during peak hours. It is for this reason that Aruba Airport decided to invest USD 1,100,000 in the area between departure gates 4 & 5.
Panda Express is a fast casual restaurant which serves American Chinese cuisine. Panda Express restaurants were traditionally located in shopping mall food courts, but the chain now operates units in many other environments and formats, including airports. Passengers typically visit Panda Express for the exquisite Kung Pao chicken, orange chicken, chow mein, fried rice and/or steamed vegetables.
Freshii is a Canadian fast casual restaurant that serves burritos, wraps, soups, salads, and frozen yogurt. Freshii has 370 locations in North America, South America and Europe. Passengers are happy with the healthier option provided at the airport.
Wineport is a unique wine bar designed specifically for those passengers that want to sit back, relax and enjoy the view of arriving and departing planes on the airport tarmac. Wineport offers a wide variety of extraordinary wines, premium cocktails and a curated selection of craft beers together with hors d’oeuvres that complement each drink.
“We’re excited about the new F&B outlets at the airport, as our travelers now have 3 additional outlets to choose from while they wait for their departure flight. Additional to the F&B outlets, we have also invested in new and modern restrooms located next to the 3 outlets. The construction works that started in December 2014 are now complete and we couldn’t be happier. In terms of revenues for the airport we’re looking at an additional USD 200K per year,” expressed AAA CEO Mr. James Fazio during the press tasting event held at the airport.
