Hand-over West Apron Extension Phase 2A

The West Apron Extension Phase 2A project which consists of the building of 2 new aircraft stands (stand 15 and 14) with the adjacent taxiway was successfully completed and delivered. The stands include all required utilities such as an underground fuel line with hydrant pits, drainage lines, floodlights, emergency phones and CCTV cameras.

Furthermore, a new service road in front of the stands was constructed, adjacent to the new fence separating the cargo area from the airside.

The works started on January 15th, 2018, which was on the same date that West Apron Extension Phase 2B partially started too. Phase 2B will be finalized until the end of the year, which consists of another aircraft stand that is already finished and a connection from taxiway Kilo to taxiway Golf.
