American Airlines to operate direct flights out of La Guardia, New York
Aruba Airport is happy with more flights out of the New York area
Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) received great news last week from one of its largest partners operating flights out of the United States of America, namely American Airlines. They announced that they will start operating weekly direct flights to Aruba out of La Guardia International Airport. This flight will start on June 8, 2019 and reservations of these flights can be made as of October 8, 2018.
American Airlines is currently one of the airlines with the largest market share for Aruba Airport (18%) with direct flights to Miami, Philadelphia, and Charlotte. American Airlines will also start operating direct, weekly flights out of Dallas, Texas and Chicago, Illinois as of December 22, 2018. With this additional operation out of La Gaurdia American Airlines once again has a presence in the New York region with direct flights to Aruba
These flights to Aruba will be operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 160 seats. The schedule will be weekly flights to and from La Guardia on Saturdays, on a year round basis.
