Full Scale Emergency Exercise

Aruba Airport took part in the overnight Full Scale Emergency Exercise (FSEE) organized by Bureau Rampenbestrijding Aruba (BRA) on November 6th, 2018.

Every other year Aruba Airport is required to carry out an FSEE as part of the airport’s on-going certification by the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). The FSEE exercises serve to test command and crisis structures of not only AAA, but all relevant emergency response agencies, and serves to test inter-agency communication, response times, applicability, and efficiency of plans and overall performance during an aircraft accident. Together with BRA, volunteers were enlisted to play the part of victims of the aircraft accident.
