Aruba Airport Authority N.V. Appoints Interim Management Team to Guide Strategic Realignment
Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) is pleased to announce the formation of an Interim Management Team, effective as of August 1, 2024, as part of its ongoing strategic realignment.
This move demonstrates AAA's commitment, in partnership with Royal Schiphol Group (RSG), to ensure operational stability and drive long-term growth.
The Interim Management Team includes:
- Aisha Anthony, Chief Financial Officer, with over 15 years of financial strategy expertise at AAA.
- Jurgen Benschop, Chief Operations Officer, who brings 26 years of experience in airport operations.
- Barbara Brown, Chief Revenue Development & Communications Officer, with more than 27 years in commercial airport management.
This collective leadership approach is designed to harness diverse expertise, ensuring smooth operations during this transitional period.
AAA is currently engaged in a thorough search process for a new CEO following the end of the current CEO’s tenure on July 31, 2024. AAA’s Board of Supervisory Directors (BOSD) and RSG are committed to selecting a candidate who will align with AAA's strategic vision and lead the organization into its next phase.
The Interim Management Team will focus on several critical priorities, including enhancing communication, achieving DCAA Audit Certification, budget planning, executing Phase 1B of the Gateway 2030 project, and maintaining seamless daily operations.
