Aruba Airport Strengthens Latin American Partnerships at ANATO Vitrina Turística 2024

Aruba Airport Authority (AAA), in collaboration with the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), successfully concluded a productive participation at ANATO Vitrina Turística 2024, the leading tourism business event in Colombia

Together, AAA and ATA reinforced key airline partnerships to enhance connectivity and drive sustainable tourism growth between Latin America and Aruba.

With 318,436 seats available between Aruba and Latin America in 2024—representing 16% of total seat capacity—and an average 81% load factor, the region remains a vital market for Aruba’s aviation sector. Latin America also accounted for 236,892 revenue-generating passengers (RGP), representing 15% of total RGP in 2024.

Meetings with Avianca, Copa Airlines, GOL, JetSmart, and Wingo focused on strengthening route performance and aligning marketing strategies to drive sustainable traffic. AAA also engaged with key industry partners, including Despegar and Holland House, to explore commercial opportunities in both the passenger and cargo sectors.

Looking ahead, AAA will re-align marketing investments to reinforce its position in Latin America, with a strategic focus on maintaining partnerships and supporting long-term connectivity.

With strong passenger demand and ongoing airline collaboration, AAA—alongside ATA—remains focused on expanding its presence in Latin America and solidifying Aruba’s role as a premier Caribbean destination.
