About The Airport

Brisbane Airport (BNE) is Australia’s third largest airport, and the host airport for the 2032 Summer Olympic Games. 23.6 million passengers passed through BNE airport in 2024, and forecasting 24.9 million passengers in 2025.

BNE has a route network of 32 international destinations and an extensive domestic network comprising 62 destinations – the largest domestic network of any airport across the nation. BNE offers scheduling flexibility due to 24/7 operations (no curfew) and a wealthy and fast-growing outbound market (airport catchment of 5.5 million people).

BNE's second runway opened in 2020, and over the next 10 years we are investing over $5 Billion AUD in terminal and apron capital expenditure to ensure BNE has adequate facilities to support the 50 million passengers forecast to travel through BNE by 2040.
