Opening of new MRO-shop in CPH gives Boeing a competitive edge
7,500 sqm. and 32 employees – that is the magnitude of the new Boing MRO-shop (maintenance, repair and overhaul) which opened in one of the hangars at CPH this week.
The new shop gives Boeing a much stronger presence in Denmark and the Nordic countries as it is the first of its kind in this part of the world.
“We are excited to be opening a shop here in Copenhagen. Both geographically and strategically the location is just right for us. We are now able to deliver a true competitive advantage to our customers simply because we can minimize the time consumption for aircraft maintenance. And by delivering world class service to our customers we can help them run an even more efficient business every day,” says Doug Caldwell, Director of Fleet Management at Boeing Commercial Aviation Services.
