Romania’s Blue Air Announces New Dublin Service
Dublin Airport has welcomed the announcement by Romanian airline Blue Air that it is to launch twice weekly flights to Cluj next summer.
Dublin Airport has welcomed the announcement by Romanian airline Blue Air that it is to launch twice weekly flights to Cluj next summer.
“We are delighted to see Blue Air add the city of Cluj-Napoca to its route network at Dublin Airport from next summer,” said Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison.
"Cluj is Romania’s second largest city and is located in the historical Transylvanian region. I have no doubt this new route will be an attractive location for both business and leisure passengers. We look forward to welcoming the launch of the new route next June,” he added.
Flights will depart from Dublin Airport at 15.30 each Tuesday and Saturday arriving in Cluj at 17.10. The return flight leaves Cluj at 17.55 arriving into Dublin Airport at 23.35.
Blue Air also announced that it is to increase frequency on its summer schedule next year flying four times per week to Bucharest and three times per week to Bacau.
The announcement brings to seven the number of new routes/services for summer 2016.
