Ryanair Announces Expanded Dublin-Gatwick Service
Ryanair is to expand its service between Dublin and London Gatwick for summer 2016.
The carrier has announced that, from March, it will increase the service from five to seven times daily.
It said this will bring the total number of daily return Ryanair flights between Dublin and London to 18 - including eight to Stansted and three to Luton.
Said Dublin Airport spokeswoman Siobhán O’Donnell: “This increase in capacity of 14 extra flights per week on Ryanair’s Gatwick route is significant and offers both business and leisure passengers greater choice and flexibility.”
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said the extra Gatwick flights were part of the carrier’s expanded summer 2016 schedule, with 85 routes in total, including three new routes to Athens, Amsterdam and Vigo in north-west Spain.
