A special day, when the world turns a bit greener and the joy of Irish culture echoes globally. A day for people from all over the world to celebrate what it means to be Irish. Dublin Airport is proud to connect Ireland with the world, bringing friends and family together for this special occasion and a weekend of celebrations. Over the coming eight days, between Tuesday and Monday, more than 650,000 arriving and departing passengers will travel through Dublin Airport. The busiest day will be Friday when around 105,000 passengers are expected, including 51,000 arriving passengers and 54,000 departing passengers.
Dublin Airport is delighted to once again partner with St. Patricks’ Festival, the largest celebration of Irish Culture and Heritage in the world. The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Spreach’, the Irish word for Spark, which represents the unique essence of Irish people igniting our love of travel.
