Wizz Air launches Varna from Eindhoven Airport
Wizz Air recently announced that from the 21st of July it will serve a new route between Eindhoven Airport and Varna, the Bulgarian city on the Black Sea.
The route from Eindhoven to Varna will be served twice weekly (Thursday and Sunday) with a new Airbus A320 with 180 seats on board. Varna will already be the 21st destination that Wizz Air is serving from Eindhoven Airport, and the second destination in Bulgary after Sofia.
With its 350.000 inhabitants Varna is the third largest city in Bulgary and the most important harbour city in the country. The surroundings of the city are well-known amongst tourists with its beautiful Black Sea beaches, also often referred to as Goldcoast. The Goldcoast tells the story of the legend of gold treasures that once were transformed in beautiful gold-colored sand. Besides the 'legendary beach' of Varna with its beautiful boulevard with numerous shops and restaurants, also the beach resorts Albana, Sveti Konstantin and Obzor are in the near vicinity.
