110 months of consecutive growth
According to official data from Eindhoven Airport, June 2009 was the last month when Eindhoven Airport had less passengers than in the same month previous year. This means that Eindhoven Airport has a streak of amazing 110 months of consecutive growth. Amazing 110 months!
Average yearly growth in the last 5 years was 13.7 %, but last year Eindhoven Airport had a yearly growth of 19.3% and almost 1 million passengers more than during the 2016.
Also, Eindhoven Airport during the 2018 recorded the busiest month in the history and first time the threshold of 600.000 passengers in one month has surpassed. In July 2018, there were 617.615 passengers and the busiest day ever was on 22-08-2018 with 21.644 passengers in one day.
This is clearly a result of a great partnership with all stakeholders of Eindhoven Airport, all partner airlines, but also a great work within the airport itself (partnership with the ground handling company). Furthermore, this is an outcome of a strong growing business market around the Eindhoven and surrounding province(s), such as Philips, Tesla (the only Tesla factory outside the USA), ASML, VDL, Vanderlande and the whole Brainport Industry.
And the streak goes on....
