Eindhoven Airport remains open; operation has been reduced

Eindhoven Airport is reducing the operation of the airport due to the sharp decrease in air traffic due to the corona pandemic.

The airport remains open to handle passenger flights, mostly for repatriation. For Eindhoven Airport air traffic, this means that in the week of March 23 to 29, airlines Ryanair and WizzAir will keep 28 destinations in Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom until further notice. . Entry and exit conditions apply, which may differ per country. Consult nederlandwereldreed.nl for the most current travel advice from the government.

Eindhoven Airport advises travelers to keep a close eye on their airline's website. There may be changes in the flight schedules.

The opening hours of the terminal will be adjusted from Monday 23 March. The terminal is open from 6.15 am to 10.45 pm from Monday (instead of the regular time from 4.30 am to midnight).

The staffing at Eindhoven Airport has been adapted to the reduced number of flights. A more limited range of retail is available at the airport. AH to go, Aviflora and Fashion & Travel are currently open in the terminal. McDonalds Drive thru at Eindhoven Airport is also open.

Due to worldwide developments regarding the corona crisis, the negative travel advice for all Dutch people, the EU measures and worldwide travel restrictions, the number of flights and the number of passengers is expected to decrease even further in the coming period. Eindhoven Airport will continue to evaluate the interpretation of its operation and the opening of the airport.
