Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) will commence its strongest summer schedule since 2008
The summer schedule will start at the end of March and Münster/Osnabrück Airport’s passengers can look forward to the strongest offer since 2008.
Four airlines will be flying to the popular Balearic Island Mallorca up to six times a day providing the largest offer in 16 years. In addition to Eurowings, Ryanair and SmartLynx Airlines, Condor will also be starting as a new airline at FMO.
The Turkish Riviera around Antalya is the second most popular holiday destination at FMO. With up to eight daily flights during the holiday periods, over 40% more seats will be offered in summer 2024 than in the previous season. A total of five airlines will be flying to Antalya: SunExpress, Corendon Airlines and three new airlines Mavi Gök Airlines, Pegasus Airlines and Air Anka.
There will also be even more flights to the Greek Island of Crete. In addition to the four weekly flights with SmartLynx Airlines, Condor's sister airline Marabu Airlines as a new airline will also operate to Heraklion twice a week.
Alicante on the Costa Blanca is the new destination in FMO’s schedule which is served by the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair. Ryanair will also increase frequencies to Mallorca. The season for Zadar and Greek Island of Corfu has also been extended.
Flights to the Canary Islands of Fuerteventura (now twice weekly) and Gran Canaria or to the Greek Islands of Rhodes and Kos will continue to be operated by SmartLynx Airlines on behalf of the largest German tour operator TUI.
Frequencies to the Egyptian seaside resort of Hurghada will be doubled to twice a week by Air Cairo and once a week by Corendon Airlines until the end of May.
GP Aviation will increase frequencies and operate five times a week to the Kosovan city of Pristina.
Lufthansa is increasing capacity with more frequencies and larger aircraft to over 80% of the pre-COVID level and is taking off to both hubs Frankfurt and Munich eight times a day in total from FMO.
