Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) reports busiest day of the year - Germany's fastest-growing airport

15th October was the busiest day of 2024 at Münster/Osnabrück Airport counting a total of 7,261 passengers. Ten different airlines operated 49 flight movements to eight destinations in five countries. The top destinations were Antalya and Mallorca. This daily peak was last exceeded ten years ago.

The overall traffic development at FMO in 2024 is also very positive. FMO is currently the fastest-growing airport in Germany. With an increase of 32% compared to the previous year (January - August), FMO is at the top position of all 28 airports in Germany according to an analysis by the German Airports Association (ADV).
