8 million Ryanair passengers at Krakow Airport
Krakow Airport's base carrier has transported 8 million passengers from Krakow Airport since 2005. The eight millionth passenger was checked in before 10:00 AM today. The lucky passenger is Ms. Joanna Sroga from Wadowice.
Today before 10.00 AM Ryanair's eight millionth passenger at Krakow Airport since 2005 was checked in.The lucky passenger was Ms. Joanna Sroga from Wadowice who flew on board of a Ryanair plane to Brussels (CRL) with her husband to take part in their granddaughter's First Communion celebration.
The eight millionth passenger received a set of jubilee gadgets from Krakow Airport, and the carrier presented her with a voucher for two people for any Ryanair flight from Krakow Airport.
The development of Ryanair, the largest carrier in Europe, is a source of pride for Krakow Airport. With the summer season connections to popular destinations in the Mediterranean have returned, and flights between Krakow and Gdansk will start operating from July. Immigration traffic is not growing quite as fast as before, but family ties remain strong. According to a study carried out by Krakow Airport, seniors choose to travel from Krakow Airport increasingly often.
