4 MILLION PASSENGERS AT KRAKÓW AIRPORT
Kraków Airport is the first regional airport in Poland with more than 4 million passengers during a year.
The 4 millionth passenger at Kraków Airport this year was 27-year-old Amin from Iran. He came onboard Brussels Airlines from Brussels. Visiting friends is a purpose of his trip to Kraków.
This is a historical moment for Kraków Airport and the best result in its over 50 years history. The airport during the next years is willing to keep up the current growth. It is a result of airport strategy as well as consistent decisions during previous years. Negotiations with carriers allows to forecast a further network development and passenger traffic growth. Kraków Airport cares about development of both traditional and LCC traffic. The network is diversified and addressed to the needs of leisure and business sector. Other crucial factors are development of the infrastructure and convenient transport to the airport.
Kraków Airport expects over 4,2 million passengers at the end of 2015. In 2014 it was 3,8 million people and from the beginning of the airport activity in 1964 about 38,5 million passengers.
